Joshua, Yeshua, Yehosua or Yehohshua mean

"Jehovah is Salvation" in English
or

"Yawheh is Salvation" using the God's name in Hebrew

It was the joshua of it's time I think. I've been told it is pronounced yes-u-ah, and it was the only name jesus was called during his lifetime as a human. Makes you kinda wonder whatis the big idea that you have to be baptised in the name of Jesus when those promoting same do not even know the name of Jesus huh.?? well maybe he was called other names bein as the leadership saw Him as a troublemaker, but it is the name his mother named him not Jesus which is a greek name.

Look on the net, but in hebrew i think J's and Y's are mixed up.
