I had a really good friend that liked me. He wanted to ask me out and we planned on going on a date. The day before that was supposed to happen, he came into my work and had this chick all up on him! I was absolutely hurt and crushed. I had to get off my register so i wouldn't cry in front of the customers i had. How would you handle it, and how would you feel if someone did that to you? He said that he was just hanging out with her, but he kissed her right in front of me! And he didn't care.

I know it's easier said than done, but don't be hurt over the situation. Personally, I think you should remain civil with him (literally hold no hard feelings), but stop being good friends with him because why would you want a friend like that? He showed his true colors, and they weren't good ones. Also, don't even think about him as more than a friend.

And yes, I'd be mad, but I would just brush it off my shoulder- no big deal. How old are you? I'm 19- things like that don't bother me. If I were younger I would've been more upset because I wouldn't have known better / been able to control my feelings the way I do now.

Good luck!

There are plenty of really nice guys out there so be picky and demand respect. This guy does not truly care about you if he is going to let some girl hang all over him in front of you. And if he does he will really fight for you after you turn him down this time. If you let him have this date watch two things, make sure he opens every door for you and make sure when you leave the restaurant he follows you out. If he walks ahead of you then he is a total smuck. Good luck, let love happen, dont search for it.

What he did was absolutely revolting, but the way you should look at it is, say "Thank God!" thank God that you didn't waste one single moment on a worthless piece of sh*t like him. Let him have his crack ho, and you've got plenty of time to find a decent guy. You're lucky that you found out what he is before you went out with him or (heaven forbid!) sleep with him. Don't think about him another second, He's not worth it.

Id be happy as hell that I never went out with him. Hes obviously a jerk.......I say go be with his best friend and let him find out about it.............and dont cry over some guy, there are plenty more where he came from and definitely better ones and whatever you do, dont let him see you sad it just feeds his ego.

Well I'm a dude but if i made a date with someone and they did that I'd be very P'O. I mean that's just insensitive of him. You should drop him and find yourself someone else. Obviously he's not trust worthy.

Get over it...he was just a good friend. You said that you had never dated so what was the basis for you expecting to have a unique relationship with him?

I think the date is off! He sounds like a loser. He probably goes for the fast girls. A man controlled by what is in his pants.

I would feel like he was one SOB that would not get another minute of my time. I'd be pissed, but I'd get over it and consider myself lucky that I found out before any real emotion got involved.
