how much are ya workin' out, there, bud? how much are you smoking? how much do you weigh, how tall are you, how many calories do you eat a day, how long have you been working out? did you just start recently?if you truly can't lift your arms to your face, is there any pain? what kind of stress is it? did you lose someone close?
no, not stupid at all. i believe that when ppl have set backs, they don't just have set backs and then no way to overcome them, there is always a way for them to rise above the things that could drag them down, and the more set backs you have, that points out how much more strength you have.
So you are wonderful, there is no getting a better you. It's impossible, you are the absolute best, and no one could ever do any better. You take the cake. And any weaknesses you have, those are opportunities that you have where you can show yourself that you can overcome them. Things like sabotaging yourself, it's a hard habit to kick, but i know it can be done, and when you do, that's your weaknesses, don't compare yourself with somebody else who got over that weakness sooner, or maybe never had it, because they don't have all your same weaknesses, nor do they have all your same strengths. And when you defeat something that is very strong like that, that is a huge victory, no one can steal your thunder by having less of a struggle with it, because they are not you and you are the best you there can ever be.
now to address the physical part of the question, this is probably the worst thing you can do, workout-wise to your body. gotta replace the calories you burn, you're destroying your muscles with this current game plan. i think your muscles aren't the thing to worry about now, though
naw, eat fruit before you work out....what's better is a complex carb like bread with a little bit of simple sugar with it, like some preserves on top. after the workout, eat nuts - almonds are the best. they have free-radical fighting antioxidants in them. your muscles continue to break down up to two hours after you work out, these antioxidants will help curb that so you control when your muscles break down. also, it's all in the technique. you can work out 4 times a day every day, and be exhausted after each workout, and still make healthy gains...no supplements or ''juicing'' needed, either.

My ideas? Try to do 200 minutes of cardio a week. Remember fat does not turn into muscle, so you need to lose your fat while putting on muscle. Work hard, but don't over 60 minutes at a time. Do planks and other abs exercises on alternate days.
On training days, do 5-10 minutes of cardio to warm up, then do your weight training. Do 30 to 60 minutes more of cardio, then go home.
The best time to eat is just after your workout within an hour when your metabolism is raging. For your muscles, incorporate some isolated soy protein or whey protein. Whey is more potent but the soy tastes better!
Don't look at your scale as the be all and end all, but get a measuring tape to check your progress, and that will show more tangible results.
Read magazines like Shape, Womens Fitness, Fitness, etc to get tips and to stay motivated.
Good luck and stick at it. This plan has lost me 20 lbs in 12 weeks so far, just go for it!

Your body needs rest days and protein to build. You are sore because you are not getting enough oxygen through your body. Drink more water, eat fruit after the workout and eat at least 116 grams of protien through out the day. If you dont eat you cant grow muscles. And lose the butts, its cutting off your air supply. 100 grams is about 1 pound of protien. Eat more and gain some weight.
