You're pretty smart! Probably, you do have feelings of abandonment and are going after older men, just to feel the love you never got, by having sex. Try therapy for awhile and get a circle of friends who can make you feel wanted. Sex and love are dependent upon one another! They usually just happen to coincide.

In the end, YOU must give yourself the good feelings you need, rather than depending on others. That's what a good therapist can teach you how to do.

Do you think that is what it is? I date older men because I don't want any of the Bull sh@# that goes with younger men. I think your ok, but stick with men in their 20's, 30's a bit old (they usually only want sex from a young girl)

Omi God, you are not alone girl.I thought I was the only one. I think I have one too. I've been dating guys over 18 since I was 14. Maybe it's because I developed fast and I have a bad relationship with my dad.

That's a possibility. You may be looking for the Daddy that left you.
Or you may appreciate what an older man can give you that the young boys can't.
Do you not see your father at all?

If you're thinking that you're dating them cause of your dad, that's probably it. Try going out with someone younger. Maybe someone that has the qualities that you like in older men.

You're a bit young to be sure about that. You don't need any counselling for that. You will be okay once you get a bit older. Just make sure nobody hurts you.

can be. anyway, i was dating with much older men, too. it's just that we need more than boys at our age can give us (i'm 19, too) - they are mostly irresponsible and can't give us the feeling that u r safe.
don't worry about it too much! if it disturb u, go to see a doctor.

It is not uncommon for girls who were raised without a father to date older men. I'm sorry to hear you feel this way.

Yes, and you will probably have repetitive relationships with men who treat you badly until you come to grips with that hole in your life. You need to try to have a healthy relationship with a father-figure type (maybe a pastor)
