I don't think there is such thign as friendliest religion, it all comes from how a person treats you and how he or she is, friendly or not.

To me, it seems like this question defetes the purpose of the question. Which is the friendliest religion? Are we going by stereotypes? All religions teach to treat others well. It's the people in the religions who sometimes don't follow those rules. So, if we're going by the people in the religions, well, hell! Cults tend to have the happiest more generous people out there! A little gullible, but very nice! So, I'm not really sure how to answer. Other then to say, religion shouldn't be a competition. Follow what you truly believe.

I'm with LotusBunny. I think Jehovah's Witnesses are the friendliest religion. They "work what is good toward all" (Galations 6:10) and they take to heart what the apostle Paul said at Romans 13:9 to "love your neighbor as yourself."

That's a tuff one. I think all religions can be viewed as good, bad, right, wrong in some aspect. Basically they are subjective and, as everyone has seen, can mean a million seperate things to a million different people. Basically, I think that people are friendly or not regardless of their religious affiliation. But, then again, defining friendly is a rather subjective as well. So I'm no help.

I've had a mormon friend who found out some REALLY juicy blackmail material about me, went to another friend of mine, asked if it was true. My friend who knew said yes, and the mormon friend shrugged and nodded and said, "Oh, okay, was just curious." It was never mentioned again.

This same level of friendliness and openness has been repeated over and over in my life from mormons. Now, some of the higher ups in the mormon faith are pretty closed minded but DANGED if some of the followers aren't great people.

Reminds me of the mormon episode of South Park. Sure, the religion sure seems bogus, but you can't fake genuine friendliness.

Let's say people of faith instead of religion. They are the Sephardim of the Jewish faith. And, also the Mizrahim Jews. These are the Jews who settled in the countries of the Mediterranean when they were forced from Spain, and the Jews whose families have never left the Mid-east.
