i keep getting a test page icon on my computer,if i click on it it goes to notepad which has loads of writing,and if i delete the icon it comes back again.any ideas on how to remove it and what it is?

Sounds like it might be a virus or trojan of some kind. Run a GOOD anti-virus program and it will tell you if you have or not. Try also getting and running Adaware, Spybot and/or Ewido. All are good and free and good luck.

Hmmm.... The only think I can think of, is to look at the properties of the file and see where it is located on your computer and then delete the original file, but that will only work if the icon is a shortcut. It may have something to do with your printer, maybe print the page and see if it dissapears. I have never heard of this problem before.

is this a normal note pad or notepad this boxes in title bar
hm what ever i sudgest you to scan your regestry because only regestry can do such as this things to scan regestry just download any
trusted reg sacner
and make a new user and install norten corporate antivirus
