I had a very small wedding 45-50 at my sisters house.... It was comfortable for all involves no pressure to have everything perfect... Instead of a recieving line my husband and I mingled with the guests....

We had a barbeque chicken & hotdogs for the kids all the trimmings instead of a sitdown meal (My father especially liked this as he was wanting a new grill and us making him grillmaster gave him an excuse to buy a new one the day before the wedding..... He got the one with all the bells and whistles cause he needed them to make the food good for my wedding... At least that's what he told my mom when she said "$2,000 for grill??!?!?!")

With such a small wedding we were asked to open all presents at the reception in front of the guest all family and close friends... Everyone was able to oooohhhhh and aaahhhhhh...

Been married 10 years on Sept 27th still going strong...

We had our wedding in the night outside in the garden. It was really nice, sweet, and romantic. We had our close friends with us and also familys. We served barbeque chicken and ribs, red rice, roast beef, salads and some sandwiches.. It was a formal occasion but somehow it was like some normal togethering. It was really nice. Our original plan was only up to 150 guests but we had up to 400 people and OMG! the food was able to fit all of them.

I had a small wedding in Tahoe. It was perfect for us. We had about thirty guests and had appetizers after the ceremony along with champagne. And since we were in Tahoe the party just kind of followed us as we went from place to place in Tahoe. It was so much fun. The ceremony was performed inside but we took a ton of pivtures outside with the mountain views. I think each wedding needs to be individualized for the couple. Everybody requires something different.

It was really fabulous. It was outside in August at a castle. We had fuschia, orange and yellow as our colors, which was a great change outside of many pastel weddings I've attended. It was classy and everything fell into place. We had beef, chicken, red potatoes, salad with two kinds of dressing, bread and fruit trays. It was seriously delish, and there was something for everybody - nobody wants to be served fancy stuff that tastes bad. We had about 120 guests. Congrats if you are getting married!

We had an indoor wedding the middle of July. We basically just served barbeque pork sandwhiches with fruit and veggies. We wanted to do something light since it was the middle of summer. We had about 200 guests.

My wedding was Oct 29th almost a year ago, it was inside at a old victorian historical sight. We had about 50 guests for a mid afternoon wedding, and just had cake, coffee, punch, and a toast of the bubbly. Nothing to fancy, simple and elegant and not lasting forever, but beautiful still.

Our wedding was glorious! There were about 190 guests at the supper and dance. It was held at a ballroom. It was a traditional Ukrainian wedding, with the ceremony done by my husband's brother and two of our friends who are priests. No, we're not thrice married, but it was very special. The ceremony was in Ukrainian, and was in mid-afternoon at my home-town church. The supper was a buffet - baron of beef and turkey, with tonnes of everything else to eat and a bevy of desserts. There's obviously so much else, but it was an awesome, beautiful day!

my wedding was the best one ever! The ceremony was in white and looked like a cloud. We had the Cirque Du soliel perform 3 acts and we served a wonderful 6 course meal. We started with Caesar salad, cream of mushroom soup, anti pasto, pasta, and steak lamb and shrimp entree with roasted potatoes and for dessert... a huge dessert table with 8 styles of cakes and 12 pastries, cheese, crackers, and a sundae bar.

We had a surprise wedding! His family lives out of state, so when we went to visit, we invited everyone out to dinner, but when they got there - SURPRISE! We had made it a small wedding for the 16 of us that were there. We had everything that mattered to us and good food, music and a photographer. It was wonderful and I would do it all over again. No one was telling us what we could and couldnt have, and no one called us 10 million times to ask us questions. No one had to worry of gifts or speeches, it was absolutely wonderful!
