Your cat is doing what comes naturally to a cat ;
Marking his territory!
This is his domain and all other cats know this and do not trespass .
It is not a pleasant thing to get your furniture or inside walls sprayed, with this strong smelling liquid
.
wash area very clean with soapy water , then rinse and dry .
spray areas that may get soiled on ,
with 1/2 white vinegar and water .
( this will deter your cat from doing this again in that area.)
Cats do not like Vinegar in my experience
citronella oil is also effective
Make sure your cats litter box is fresh and clean each day too
If your cat has not been neutered, get that done as soon as possible ,
this may stop him being quit so territorial.

the liquid you're seeing is probable anal gland excretion. there are 2 glands on the two fringe of the rectum that canines and cats use to mark their territory. Cat's many times do not ought to have them expressed by ability of a vet some do. some cats additionally would possibly not at all launch their glands very usually and a few launch them while excited,scared or while the glands are finished.

Assuming this is a serious question, the answere is he is spraying to mark his territory. Get him neutered ASAP. If he is an adult cat, then it may be too late to stop him from marking. However, neutering may help the frequency or potency of his spraying. Good Luck!

I had one cat do this because of a kidney infection, and another do this because of feline leukemia. Take the cat to the vet ASAP.
