That's not quite correct. The Qu'ran acknowledges it's commonalities with Judaism and Christianity and calls Jews and Christians Aal-al -kitab, people of the book. It's the unbelievers who are not to be tolerated.

Mind you, this furore about the criticism of a stupid old book is absolutely ridiculous.

It simply demonstrates the idiocy of all religion.
