I think everyone can relate to "Love Bites" in one way or another. Getting over it is probably the hardest thing in life. Some ppl become recluses, some serial killers, some become suicidal, and some ppl just seem to go on as if nothing bad has happened. But all of us feel this pain at least once in our lives. The pain is not so much from the loss, as it is from the disappointment we feel. We usually end up being hard on ourselves, and constantly say things like, "what did I do that was so bad?" These things however really just keep us down in the dumps over the breakup.

After spending a few days analyzing the failed relationship, it is best to just get back out there! Moving on, is actually the fastest way to finding a cure for the Broken Heart Syndrome. If you think about it, you may see the wisdom in this. Getting back out with friends and going back out on dates puts something new into your brain for you to think about. Staying at home and fretting will get you no where. Besides, while you get back out there, you may find that someone else fills that void to overflowing. But the only way you will find that someone else is to get back out there. You can not find something that you do not look for!!!

Someone will fill your void! Someone will bring a smile back on your face. It is a law of probability. The more ppl you date the greater your chances of finding that one special some one who fills your world with excitement!

Yes, I can relate to it so da-n much it isn't funny. I've been trying my best to leave it alone and be civil.I'm still here and still in the same mode. I'm still waiting, I still feel the same, I'm still crying, I'm still in that world of make believe on my part as no one has ever done what's been done to me by "Love Bites" but it doesn't have to be that way and most people know it. It can hurt but in a good way if two are together as one. Thats's how you get over it. You get together and actually live it for real instead of fantasy. At least in my world, looking thru life within my "own" black colored glasses makes me who I am. Sad and filled with sorrow for the loss of the only thing I had for no reason and begged for it to be mine for always. Instead I get rejection, and an occasional look like I'm being laughed at or pitied........peace & love....~p~

"I don't wanna touch you too much baby
'Cos making love to you might drive me crazy"

Yes, it does tell me a lot but I cannot relate to the whole song. It sounds too dramatic for my taste. :)
Fortunately, it tells me only good things. Love bites, yes it does. But those bites are good bites. It comes all in one package, after all... sometimes it hurts but that's okay. Life is also hard sometimes, why should romantic love be such an easy thing to get to, then???
If it bites, I will bite back... and basta! :))

OMG....this is sooo a song from my past....no, you can't get over it. It lives in your soul til the day you die....no matter who comes along, and the fact that the person is long gone from your mind (mostly), you can never escape the memories...the feelings you had when you experienced it...it's just a part of you now...and everytime I hear that song...I'm right back in the memory

I don't think it is meaningless. A broken heart sucks and everyone feels it some time or another.
