I recently was offered a great job for a company that i have been applying to for years. I am not a big pot smoker, but enjoy it once a month or less. I need to pass a drug test. The last time i smoked was over two weeks ago and i don't have any money at the moment. The catch twenty two is that i just found out im pregnant. Many of the suggestions ive read dont seem that safe for someone who is pregnant. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. thank you. oh and yes i have quite smoking sense i became aware of being pregnant.

First of all, let's also think about this... Drug testing is expensive. Some companies threaten with tests, even make you pee in a cup, but never really do the test (especially companies with low profit margins). Take it from someone who knows... They figure if you're willing to pee in a cup, you've got nothing to hide. Something to think about, but don't bet Las Vegas odds on that happening, especially if you're hiring on to a Fortune 500 company.
OK, we all know the "drink lots and lots of water" thing, and it's good advice, except pot lingers in fat cells and flushing your system with water only dilutes your urine and throws the test off. Some drug tests will come back inconclusive and they will ask to retest.
Try niacin (vitamin B3). It dilates the capillaries and makes the flushing work better. Don't overdo it. You'll know if you took too much if your skin turns red and feels tingly. Niacin could be dangerous. You'll get really lightheaded and could pass out. In low doses, it should also be safe for the baby.
There are also flushing drinks you can buy at your local head shop, but I have no idea if they are safe for your baby. The flushing drinks really work - I've personally seen army recruiters buying them to get new recruits past the tests - and I think the main ingredient in them is niacin.
Talk to a doctor before you do anything too drastic - they have to keep any information you give them secret so you don't have to worry about being turned in.
And not that I'm encouraging you on anything, but also keep in mind that marijuana is one of the few drugs that doesn't cross the placental wall. Other chemicals created in the smoke can be very dangerous to a fetus, but magic brownies or pot butter is harmless. It's been used for centuries as an antinauseant without ill effects to the baby.

Drink a lot of water, koolaid, tea, anything that makes you pee non-stop. Also add one tablespoon of white vinegar to the water. It tastes nasty but will help. If its been a few weeks you should be fine if you were telling the truth when you said you didnt do it often.It is possible to pass one before 28 days regardless of what the other person said. My friend and I both passed one a few yrs back with a job and it had been a little less than 2 weeks since we had smoked. Yes, I know for a fact we both passed b/c they got the results while you were there.

Delay your test for as long as you can. If it has already been two weeks you stand a good chance of passing. If it comes back positive contest the results, claim that the false positive must be some sort of side effect of pregnancy, and demand a re-test. Unless they want something more drastic like hair samples in the re-test, by that time you should be clean.

You cannot pass a mj test within 28 days of smoking. Your only prayer is if the company doesn't actually test EVERY sample.
Many people think they passed, when in reality their samples weren't actually tested...
Large companies with many people competing for the same job are less likely to test every sample, because it costs them alot of money...
Tell your OB that you smoked pot so he or she can treat your pregnancy as high-risk...

Drink lots of water, alot before you go then when you pee it is so deluded it want show up if you dont smoke that much. Also try some of the liquid drink that clean out your system. But I bet water will do the trick, ( Trust me on this) wink wink ;)

the testing my company does is very intensive. it'll catch anything in your body for up to 6 months. one thing i've heard that works is to make jello but don't let it turn to jello. drink it and the stuff in there that makes it all jiggly will grab the bad stuff and help you out. also drink a lot of water. now, since you're preggo, pass it down lol.

All I can say is drink drink drink lots of water..It also depends on how much you weigh. Weed/drugs are stored in your fat cells, so if you are thin it is out of your system faster than if you are obese. It also depends on how heavily you smoke..Once a month is nothing...I smoke everyday...3 times a day..

Ok .. Drink 2 Full Gallons Of water the Day Befor your test , I promise you will pass. I did.
I PROMISE you will pass. I passed a Fairfax County Test with that.

2 weeks more and you should be clear, if it is true that you smoked two weeks ago. It shold only last in your system for 30days and then you should show no signs of it in you blood stream.
Oh yeah, and bring some with you just in case you fail, you'll need it for comfort. lol

NobudE is right its stored in you fat cells. Do what he says and you should pass. Years ago when I smoked and had to take a pee test, I had someone pee in a small container and kept in under my boob to keep it warm and sneak it in.
