No U.S. Embassies in the states you want to look up the "dept of State" they might have a local office there. The Embassies overseas are under and part of the Dept of State.

embassies and consulates operate outside the territory of the continental USA, we only have the dept of Homeland security which is charged to process all forms of immigration and visas that are generated outside the continental US. or sent in by US residential citizens at the various processing centers
