I struggled with it, in the begginning, but I got real busy in the AA program. Over seven years ago, and I no longer have the struggle, nor the desire to drink. Peace and Good Luck.

Yes, I spilled a beer once. Extreme abuse of alcohol. Now I keep my ring finger underneath the bottle so I won't drop them.

i will never have a drink problem, because i saw the effects of it with my mother, who still is an alcoholic,i'm sad to say i don't see her much, its destroying her and it almost destroyed the rest of the family,we have tried to help her over the years, but u can't,they have to want to help themselves,my mother has liver damage and been at deaths door umpteen times,it kills u to watch someone destroy themselves in front of u,u feel powerless to help its mental torture for those who have to watch someone they love do this,ur just waiting for the inevitable

My strong suggestion/God's command:
Psalm 119:9 (A-KJV)
Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.
Proverbs 20:1
Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise.
The Word of God has power to deliver and cleanse us from any and all sin(s). According to:
John 3:3
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Ye MUST be born again!
How?
Romans 10:8-14
But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
