I want to be able to have them respect me and our house but nobody can do anything on there own I have to ask ,then it doesn't always get done anyway.Between the couch and fridge back to the ps2 or t.v.The 20 yr old hates doing anything around house.he says he's not getting paid ! what do you call a roof over your head ,food,rides without money? I don't want to sound like a b!@#ch to them...what do you suggest? Do tell.....Thanx ! K.C.

take away their tv and hide the ps2 and tell them they can either do some work or find another place to live!

Believe it or not, the house you share with your boyfriend, is yours also. First you must confront your boyfriend about this, then the two who are just Free-loaders. The 20 year old, can be on his own, he is old enough to do for his self. The 17 year old, if he is still in school, must respect you, and follow the rule of your house, not his. And yes, that goes for the 20 year old also.

I suggest you expect the boyfriend to confront the situation. Does he know how you feel, and what has he stepped up to do? They may all three just be looking for a housekeeper. If that's the case, perhaps you can negotiate a salary for yourself.

He's 20. Make him grow up and move out!! If they are not willing to do small things for you, don't do anything for them, aka laundry, dinner. Show them that your not a pushover. Also, talk to your husband. If you want them to respect you, he needs to also. Have him talk to them, tell him how it makes you feel catering to some spoiled brats.

tell them ur not doing anything for them cuz ur not getting paid either, stop feeding them and stop doing there laundry and stop picking up after them. and tell the 20 yr old that he either pitches in on housework or he doesnt live there anymore. He needs to grow up

I would tread carefully... They may be just looking for a cook/housekeeper for three adult males... Set and get the ground rules established before you delve into this...
