The least we can do is live it up and make His death stand for something good.

(thanks to neil s. for the inspiration)

The question is not in regards to if I or anyone has led or can lead a sin-free life, it is in regards to -- since Jesus already dies, shouldn't we go out of our way to sin as much as possible so it won't be for naught?

Sure live it up and let him forgive you later.

Nice try but not even you can live day to day without sinning. I mean, if you know so much about Jesus then you should try to read the Book He inspired and you would find that "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God". If you want to make His death stand for something then believe what He says and become a Christian ie...live more Christ-like.

Jesus is the only person to live a sin free life. No man is without sin.

If you go by what Jesus died for, then there is no way to live a sin-free life.

No one ever leads a sin free life. The only one who was ever sinless was Jesus Christ Himself. When He died He literally took all of the sins of the world upon Himself. No we should not "live it up". If you are serious, you have the wrong idea.

Even if you did live a sinless life after coming to Christ you would have still sinned before you came to Him. Scripture teaches that ALL have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God. That's why Jesus' death meant so much.

If someone is a fundamentalist Christian, that is, they follow the Bible as closely as possible for the 'rules' regarding their religious practice then your question is moot.

Everyone has sinned in the eyes of God... look over the Ten Commandments... you have commited at least one of those at least once in your life. According to a pastor I know, the Christian church teaches that we are all born with something called 'sin-nature' which essentially makes it impossible for us NOT to sin or avoid temptation.

So.... as far as your question, it depends on what your personal beliefs are regarding what constitutes a 'sin'. If you are using the bible defintions then we have all sinned. Period.

Again -- according to the Bible. (which I don't believe in...)

To Christians, I'm sure your question is stupid. How can you live a sin-free life when you have Original Sin™?

You should question whether Jesus even existed, which I believe he didn't. Just a fabrication from other fairtales before him.

The answer is yes.

Without sin, the life, death and resurrection of Jesus is meaningless. Without sin there is no redemption.

Jesus himself said, "I have come, not to get the upright, but sinners, so that they may be turned from their sins."

In some mysterious way he comes in to our sinful lives and calls us to himself.

Who has lived a sin free life?

A name would be good.

Peace!
