I went to an Italian family restaurant. At the next table, the father ordered 3 wine glasses for his BYO wine. He served his daughter wine. She was about 16 years old. Does the owner of the restaurant have any responsibility if she gets drunk? Have you seen parents give their kids alcohol when they are in a restaurant? What do you think when you see parents with small kids drinking martinis and then getting into their car and drive away?

I don't care if it is ok or not. I drank like a hundred times in public places and nobody cared!
actually, I never get caught! :))
Anyway, my father allows me to drink when I want to. And that is the best thing about educating your teen children at the subject alcohol and drugs.
He allows me to do everything I want so that I won't do it without him knowing. And thanks to that I have never been tempted to taste drugs and I would NEVER do that!!!
Alcohol is something elementary, but I NEVER drink to get drunk I drink like a glass r to.

I know people who give their kids alcohol in the privacy of their own homes. They tell them if they drink to do it at home so they can keep an eye on them. But I have never heard of this.

In Italy if they have a parent with them they can drink wine. They don't add alcohol in their wine.

It is against the law to give alcohol to minors even when there are your own children.
