I have the same problem. I suffer form poor blood circulation, a side effect of low blood pressure. The more I get regular exercise, and regulate a higher heart rate, and drink lots of water, it almost goes completely away. When I am more dormant, it increases.

Poor circulation contributes to the color change. Try moving your feet and legs around if you need to be on your feet along time and when you are in the cold. If you feel prolonged tingling in your feet for any long amount of time (longer than 30 minutes) I would check with your Doctor as it could be a circulatory problem. Dont' wait too long as it could lead to nerve damage in your foot and even your leg....trust me.

Try sitting for a while and monitor the time it takes to return to normal. You have to evaluate such things as how long you are usually on your feet or perhaps not enough in order to worry about circulation. Is there itching, numbness, pins and needles, etc? Then hiho its off the podiatrist you go!
