Birth control pills vary, but most have an average natural failure rate of about 2%. So there is a 1 in 50 shot that you could get pregnant on the pill, but that assumues that you take the pill every day at the same time with no mistakes (otherwise, the risk rises). I personally know several people who have become pregnant while on the pill. Double or triple your methods if this is not something you want.

Yes, absolutely.

Ideally you should take your pill at the exact same time every day. When you stray from this, the possibility of getting pregnant increases. If you miss a pill entirely or take it a significant amount of time late, you should use an alternate form of birth control. And taking your pills on time is extremely important at the beginning of each cycle (new pack).

But even with proper use, the chance is always there. It is never 100%.

Yes you can still get pregnant even if you are on birth control pills, if you are sick at the time with a cold or flu, basically any time that your immune system is low or down the pill is not working to its full capabilities.

I would suggest that you get your partner to use a condom as well as you being on the pill.

Good Luck hope this help

It is not common, but certainly possible. If you suspect at any time that may be pregnant, you should stop taking your pill and talk to your doctor immediately. Otherwise, you could be harming a child. Also, read through your pill information, because sometimes missed periods, tender breasts and other pregnancy symptoms are birth control side effects.

There are many moms out there that can tell you the answer to this is yes. My doctor says you can miss taking the pill one day and get pregnant. He says most pill pregnancies are caused by taking it wrong.

It's also very dangerous for the baby if you keep taking it and you are pregnant.

Plan B, perhaps?

UM YEAH!! you can take the pill, use the spermicide insert on yourself, plus have him wear a condom and there is ALWAYS a chance you could end up pregnant. Granted there is still very little chance, but yet there still is. So if your ready enough to have sex, you better be ready enough to raise and support a child.

Yes, you can. As any type of birth control will tell you, it's not 100% effective.

Yes, you can. And especially if you are taking an antibiotic. A friend of mine got pregnant while she was taking the pill, because her dentist put her on an antibiotic, and she wasn't advised that that can happen.....
