There has been some discussion regarding soy products and the elevation of estrogen (the female hormone that would cause male breast enlargement).

From everything I've read is that you'd have to consume a lot of soy to have elevated estrogen levels. Muscle and Fitness magazine (a testtesterone laden magazine if there was one) continually gives soy the all clear in terms of protein supplements and food.

I am still a little wary. I don't avoid it, and I do I drink soy milk from time to time (and over the course of the years I've had a lot of soy products). I haven't had any side effects from the proported estrogen levels. I've toned down my soy usage on account I've found that dairy is a more useful protein for me and I use skim products only.

If you have breast enlargement you may want to have your hormone levels tested and examine any supplements you may be taking. Also consider talking to a doctor. There's a lot of hype / hysterial over soy but so long as you aren't overdoing it, I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Good luck.
