Demerol is an analgesic. Demoral is Demerol misspelled.

Demerol is a narcotic drug that's mainly used for pain relief. Demeral is not listed in a drug book I have that's about 3 years old; I suspect it's just "Demerol" misspelled. It's hard to believe that a drug company would actually come out with a *different* drug that's spelled so much like another one that's been around for a really long time.

I did a brief web search for "Demeral" and scanned the answers. They all seem to be talking about Demerol.
