well not exactly close but "Papaya King" at 86th & 3rd for the best Hot Dog in NY, get the fruit drink (Real blended fruit), it's not expensive, worth the trip.

Did you watch OPRAH yesterday, she had that cook on there, and yes the VERY BEST FOOD & COST is the street vendors, go to her website and you can probally pull it up, good luck and be safe in N.Y.

there's one a block away from radio city. its on 51 or 52nd and 6th. it's a street vendor. they sell halal food.. trust me.. it stinks but once u taste it.. its mmm mmm delicious. i recommend the chicken over rice with ALOT of white sauce. it's under $5. bon appetite!
