With all respect to all prophets (pbut), this question was only to say that we should not use our time standards to judge people of other times. I hope people start realizing time factor when discussing Muhammad's marriage (pbuh) to Aisha (gbh).

As well, I don’t think I need another question to prove that polygamy was not Muhammad's invention. Look up old time people history, including prophets’ history, yourself.

At the time, the human species was a lot closer to perfection, so there were not the genetic anomalies we have today. Our attitudes toward one marrying a sister or half sister is a learned behavior, that was taught as the generations passed and was important as variants crept into our genes. Hawaiian culture still taught this up to the 1800s, without any significant genetic anomalies creeping in. When civilization arrived, and we began ruining their health, it was no longer possible, as well as not accepted by the white invaders.

i'm not sure cuz i'm a muslim but i honestly don't see why not. not all cousins lived together a lot and became like brothers and sisters and nothing is wrong with the children until it's repeated 3 or 4 times which is rare and not any case but in the cases where it turns complicated where for exampel the wifes uncle (father's bro.) is the husbands uncle(mother's side )and her grand mother is the aunt of his mother...and trust me it does get more complicated but 2 of my aunts marry their cousins and one of them had 3 great childern and the other has 4 and they all turned out well
