They have only been buying bit-rate players, it's not like they have signed Ronaldinho, Kaka, Rooney and Shevchenko.
They might be a 'big fish in a very small pond' for the market of 'lesser known players'.

It does seem it but Dundee Utd have not bought many players in recent years.

Because they only go for cheap shite players.
If they went for somebody decent like Bob Malcolm, they would not be able to afford him.
That's why they are always going to be pish and that's why players of his, erm calibre go to places like the English Championship or league 1.
Utd could't afford most of the players in either division.

Cos they only get players on loan or cost a couple of hudred thousand!!,*** on there are only 2 teams in Scotland that have money!!
