I unquestionably have 3 male canines that are all neutered. None of them are obese. None of them lost their rigidity or spunk. they are actually not walking around trekking their leg on each and everything. One is now 8, one is 7, and the different is two. canines earnings greater weight via much less workout and overfeeding, not from neutering. except for some reason you will possibly pick to reproduce him (and there are already sufficient BYB interior the international), the useful a strategies outweighs the unfavorable. i might sense undesirable if I allowed my canines to function to the undesirable puppy inhabitants way greater advantageous than i might in taking him to be neutered. solid success on your determination.

Congrats, you did the right thing. He'll be quieter, smell better, less aggressive, 6 times less likely to bite than an intact male, and far less likely to hump blankets, soccer balls, and your leg. Give him a little time for the testosterone to work out of his system.
You'll be so glad you had the dog neutered, and thank you for rescuing instead of buying from a breeder. Give him a ton of love and plenty of training and exercise and he'll be your best friend for many years to come.

One thing is less marking of terratory. And un neutered Lhasas tend to be somewhat agressive. Being abused he might tend to be agressive anyhow. Bless you for rescuing an abused dog.

well you don't have to worry about your dog taking off when females are in heat. And they are cleaner than dogs who are not spaded. sorry to hear your dog was abused that is so cruel. People should be punished when they intentionally harm any animal on purpose.
