Greens will make you lean, and fruits will replace all the energy you lost after a good work out,(with Weights) Eat fruit after a work out or 3 hours after a meal as a snack. All fruits and vegetables have benefits, its how you combine them that matters.
Eat greens with proteins only for maximum benefits.

THERE ARE BOOKS OUT THERE THAT SHOW THE GLYCYMIC INDEX. WHAT IT DOES IS GIVE A RATING TO ALL FRUITS , AND VEGGIES FROM 1-100 IN THIS CASE THE LOWER THE BETTER, IE. BEANS,CABBAGE ARE ALL GOOD. SO WHAT YOU WANT TO DO IS EAT THE LOW NUMBER SLOW OUT PUT FOODS, THE HIGH ONES IN LARGE DOSES WILL MAKE YOU BURN "HOT" THEN OUT. THAT WAY YOU DON'T GO THROUGH HIGHS AND LOWS, IT'S A STEADY FLOW ..........

well stay away from spinach for awhile!
um, fresh juice is really good. i believe that bit about the enzymes & all that, gives you much more energy than if you drink pasteurized juice (boiled to kill bacteria & also kills enzymes)
