to play it on the dvd player but it doesnt play the avi format so i wanna convert it 2 a dvd format.............n will it affect the quality of the video?

the quality of your video is totally up to you to decide when you convert the movie using the BMP.

You need DVD Video creation software. When it creates the DVD for video playback, it converts the AVI to DVD format. This process is called RENDERING. Any good DVD video burning software package worth downloading or buying will do this automatically. You will not have to convert anything, it does the grunt work for you. I have used Ulead Media Studio Pro and Adobe Premier and Cyberlink PowerDirector Pro. All do a nice job.

it'l have no effect on the vedio until u apply the setting to change it.
