This is all about product. I would use a setting spray. The kind that is heat activated. Also, you may want to try washing your hair at night and then curling in the am. Sometimes hair fixes better when a lil dirty. Like when you get an updo they always want you to come in with day old hair. Also use a good hair spray. If you find the setting spray doesnt work...try a light hair wax and put a bit on the strand you are going to curl...it gives it a nice shine...no frizzz and hold well! Good Luck

dont use gel! try mouse or curling cream!after towel drying your hair put a genurous amount on and scrunch it, just useing you two hand. when you have the curls the you want leave it to dry naturally or use a de-fusser! if your hair is very straight naturally this may be a bit more difficult! so try treseme curlers but lots of mousse and hair spray should help! i use 'trevor sorbie' curl cream and that does the trick for me!!
good luck! xxx

you need to use something with strong hold like mousse and hairspray....you will also need a diffusser for you blow dryer to dry the scrunched hair into position...if you dont use products its just going to look frizzy and fall out of the curl....or try arisol hair spray and a curling iron...that will also work....and when you use curlers are you using anything with hold...setting lotion on wet hair and then roll it and let it dry is going to give you the longest lasting curls

Your gonna have to put alot of both hair spray and gel, also get something made for thick hair. And you will more than likely have to put some holding hair spray also so that it will hold in your hair

ok first of all, it would really help if u use some kind of curling shampoo and conditioner, one that seems to be really good and seems to work wonders on my is pantene. after that dry ur hair of with a blower while adding small portions of the garnier curling spary gel, that should work.

hi,do you want little scrunches or big waves.what i do with my daughter is while it is damp after washing, i put jel in it and put 3 braids in it before bedtime.one over each ear and back of her head. in the morning we make sure its dry and take out the braides and finger come it. a brush will comb out the waves and cause static. spray and go. other then that i would get a perm....teresab

Have you used a curling iron? Use a curling iron and gel.
You might be SOL though....some people just CAN'T curl their hair no matter how hard they try.
