Take the case apart and get the rubber membrane out and wash it in hot soapy water ! dry thoroughly, get the printed circuit board and clean the board with the printed tracks that the buttons connect to, you can use meths for this or a moist soapy cloth, dry thoroughly and reas`emble and test ! I have fixed heaps like this. If it don`t work then you have gained a little more experience !!

It's not really cost effective to "fix" keys on your tv remote. Universal remotes are a much cheaper, easier, and less frustrating alternative, I would check out the local electronics store.

Are you sure the problem isn't the batteries? If you can't replace the batteries, it's going to be a lot cheaper to just buy a new remote.

If you press the buttons and nothing happens it could be the batteries. If it isn't the batteries one time I took it apart and put a folded up paper in there to make it tighter and it worked. Good luck. How did we do it in the olden days?

depends on what's wrong with them. If they're stuck inside, open the case and realign them. If they just don;t work any more, it's time to buy a universal remote.
