My ideas? Try to do 200 minutes of cardio a week. Remember fat does not turn into muscle, so you need to lose your fat while putting on muscle. Work hard, but don't over 60 minutes at a time. Do planks and other abs exercises on alternate days.
On training days, do 5-10 minutes of cardio to warm up, then do your weight training. Do 30 to 60 minutes more of cardio, then go home.
The best time to eat is just after your workout within an hour when your metabolism is raging. For your muscles, incorporate some isolated soy protein or whey protein. Whey is more potent but the soy tastes better!
Don't look at your scale as the be all and end all, but get a measuring tape to check your progress, and that will show more tangible results.
Read magazines like Shape, Womens Fitness, Fitness, etc to get tips and to stay motivated.
Good luck and stick at it. This plan has lost me 20 lbs in 12 weeks so far, just go for it!

Have you seen the ads on TV for Turbo Jam? You can check it out on the web at beachbody.com. I've been at it for about 2 months, and the first place I saw a difference was in my abs and arms. It's fun to do and not that expensive to buy. Good luck and congrats on the great weight loss!

Hey what did you do, to loose 60lbs, Im curious?
Sounds like you need to be hitting the crunches, lay on the floor, prop feet up on bed, and crunch up... OR do the lay flat on floor, hands at either sides of you, palms face down, and leg lift slowly,
leg will wobble, but that ok, keep it up, and they will strengthen.
These exerciese totally works those abdominal muscles.

I lost 40 is 5 months a while ago. I found that I didn't need to tone up, so much as I needed my skin to tighten and firm up. Try using as many firming products as you can find.

just do sit upsa slowly at first and then stretch your arms out to the side of you and then do circle type motions with em. this works great and it beats heading to the gym everyday. i myself lost 146 pounds and that is how i toned myself up. took only a few months of steady doing it . you go girl, tone your body up and sho it off, you deserve it.
ps....... did you know that 1 can of veggies (160z) weigh 1 pound. and you can tape a pound of rice around you ancles while cleaning house too. silly....yes... works definitly !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
