Think about things for a few seconds ... maybe minutes ... depends on your aptitude ... 2 10" subs with a "4000" watt amp ... and probably 6 1/2" speakers with 14 watts. hhmm ... Does anybody see anything out of balance here? Tweeters will just reproduce the really high frequencies, which, if you're the average kid who doesn't really know what music is, just boom boom boom, tssss, boom boom boom, tssss. Then go for the tweets and then there will be one more person on the street for everyone to make fun of. Or ... you could get some decent speakers, add an amplifier, ditch the ILF 4000 watt amplifier ... that stands for If Lightening Strikes. It's a measurement of power comparable to rms and peak, mean specifically for amps like boss audio and the like. Neither one works better than the other unless measured against a source of reference. Works better compared to what, trying to accomplish what? The tweeters might work better, then again, the speakers might work better. By the way, tweets are speakers. And so are woofers and subwoofers. They're all speakers. Technically they're all electroacoustic transducers. But I guess that would be splitting hairs. Sorry, I'm disgruntled today.

Max watts aren't what you should go by when speaking in terms of watts. RMS watts are the more accurate method of describing power.

Tweeters do not require very much power. I'd just run them from the HU. Running too much power through a tweeter can cause permanent hearing loss.

Just because it says it can handle 4000 watts doesn't mean it will output that much. It all depends on how much power your amp is pushing. This also apply to the tweeters/mids. The more power on the amp, the louder it is with less distortion.
