Both. It is a cheap substitute, but it does have cream cheese in it, so technically - it is cheesecake. But, It isn't even close to a baked cheesecake.

But, it is yummy.

It's a cheap, quick substitute for the real thing. Believe me. I know. I make homemade cheesecake and there is NOTHING that even comes close to it. Jello brand is good, but not DA BOMB!

No, it's not really cheese cake. It's a sorry substitute for the real thing.
A good cheesecake is a little bit of heaven!

It's a cheap substitue, real cheescake is heavy and thick. The jello brand is sooo good though! I think I prefer it just because it is a little lighter and fluffier. yum!

Sorry to sound snobby but as good as it may taste it's a cheap substitute.

if you put real cheese in it yourself, its possibly a cheesecake. If not, its an ersatz whey product chemically enhanced to give the impression of cheesecake only.

It's not really cheesecake. But that doesn't mean it isn't kinda good.
