If you follow what the Bible says, you should first go to him one on one and confront him/her. If the person does not reconcile take one or two others with you to talk with them, if still they do not reconcile, discuss the situation with your pastor and tell him what steps you have taken and that you feel he should be brought before a group of believers from your church.

1- go to that person and talk to them 2- if they do not repeant then take another person along that knows that they lie 3- if that does not work take them in front of the church.

I would confront them and ask them why they have said those things,as for an apology and if they didnt I would forgive them in my heart but never speak to them again.

a TRUE chrisitian would pray for them, obviously they have some kind of problem with self esteem or lying to get attention and need gods help

Comfront them and let them know how you feel. If it is not resolved, pray for them. This will give you peace. Vengeance is mine saith the Lord. He will fight all our battles for us.
