It is unfair for muslims to be allowed paid holiday leave to celebrate their religious festivals while we Christians are not allowed equal paid time off. Example in point: muslim teachers are allowed time off for several muslim holidays each year. While they are off, it is left for their Christian colleagues to cover their lessons. They do not make the time up and also take the Christian holidays off as well as regular recesses. This cannot be right.

don't hire any evil muslims as teachers, PROBLEM SOLVED
if i knew my kids were being educated by an evil muslim, i would withdraw them from school immediately. as a matter of fact, i need to find that information out.
its bad enough most teachers are bleeding heart liberals infecting our children with their agenda, now we have our sworn enemies teaching our children? sick

Your government is screwing you over big time and so are your employers. What are your labor laws? What are the companies policies? Talk to a lawyer but make sure he is not connected to the employer or part of the problem. You need to do some reasearch in a quiet manner and gather enough evidence to support your complaint. Unionize your place of employment or get all employees who have the same complaint to go on strike until this practice of favortism stops. It will be a tuff struggle because here in the US the criteria for getting preferential treatment and not having to do your job is by being black. Blacks get favortism and easier jobs than whites and blacks get most of the government jobs here just because they are black. In the US affirmative action never made anything fair or equal it just took equality away from anyone who is not black. Sounds like your country is doing the same thing with the muslims.

I agree with you the same happens in my job we get 2 days off for Christmas (everybody )and for the people who have different holidays they get them off too and get paid but we get nothing extra

its not right we are a Christian country what would be the result if i were to go to a Muslim country and start asking for favours for my christian beliefs. huh....and no i am not racist but these things push me all the way i want fair play.

You have to respect other people's religions. I'm sure that they did not become Muslim just so they could get more days off from work. Besides, you have issues.

What gets me is, why do application forms say
"In the interest of racial equality, please state your ethnic group here".
To be truly impartial, they should not even ask.
