This is for reporting, so I need an excel formula that does it for me.

Highlight the column, hold down the control key and press the down arrow.

If you are just trying to get to the very last cell, hit Ctrl + the down arrow key a few times. Depending on how many empty cells you have in between cells with contents, it should take you there pretty quick.

=match( offset( $B$1, count( $B:$B), 0,1,1), $B:$B,0)
