it looks like your just stressing out over school. you should just relax and try not to stress out so much. remember, you have to be in college for at least four years...if you continue this way, your health might slightly deteriorate. i've been there, stressed out over work and school but it's nothing compared to the real world when your coworkers depend on you and you have bills to pay. college is fun, you should make it as fun and memorable as possible.

Its sounds like your stress, and because your stress you have an eating disorder.

School is meant to be enjoyed, and this the greatest time in your life to discover yourself, so don't be intimidated, these professors, are only people who took the time to read the same books that you have to read, their not grand magicians, or super geniuses- and all the kids in school with you, are no different then you, in that they too are out there discovering themselves, so don't be intimidated.

If any of the above is something that has been nagging you in the back of your mind, this maybe the reason why you have not been eating like you should.

Try and eat a piece of fruit, EACH morning, no matter how long it takes, and since your not really doing solid foods just yet, try having a healthy SOUP during the day, and a glass of carrot juice and such.

Asprin is great to calm nerves as well, just one pill every other day, should/may set you back on course in about a week.

Chin up. And start appreciation this beautiful life and opportunity that you have, there are MANY out there who would love to be in your special shoes, so start taking time to enjoy it, and be good to yourself, and your body. You deserve it!

I want all A's!

I think its stress. If u had an eating disorder u wouldnt want to eat, and u do want to so it cant be. Try to find a sandwich filling that u really love. then u can take them with u and nibble on them whenever. Also try some fruit squashes to get some liquid into ur system. Hopefully this phase will pass when u become more adjusted to ur life changes. Don t worry we ve all been there and have all got different stories to tell. I wish u all the best.

I was liek that for about 2 months. I am most certainly not anorexic, but i lost about 15 lbs. I would have a tiny meal and TONS of coffee with cream, probably why i didnt lose more.
ANyway, i was under extreme stress. Things became and calmer in time and i slowey started to eat more.
Take vitiamins if you cant eat too much, try to down like an ensure or another adult healthy shake type thing. once your more settled in hopefully you'll be able to eat like normal again.
If you dont think your fat and are trying to fix it by starving, your not anorexic.
Good luck.

it sounds like stress darling...

i would suggest really trying to eat - the sick feeling you describe is due to the lack of food in your stomach and it creates acid and bile which causes you to feel sick.

if you find it hard to eat a lot, make sure what you do eat is healthy - instead of a chocolate car, have a banana - the protein and sugar is a good combination that will help your brain work better - a couple of bananas a day, some toast, eat little and often and gradually increase your meals - eat something little every couple of hours, and add some sugar to your tea - just for brain power.

Hi it sounds like stress, maybe if you go to the doctors he will recommend something for you. But go as soon as you can as you dont want to be losing weight if you are not trying to. This happens to alot of people understress and you do need to get your self checked, as even though stress isnt as bad as an eating disorder, it still is unhealthy for your body and can make you seriously ill.

It is definitely stress! Anorexic is when you think you are fat no matter how thin you are! Try drinking lots of water instead of tea. Caffeine will dehydrate you which is why you have symptoms! Your body can go without 3 meals a day it's the water that is important. Once you get into a regular schedule you'll get your appetite back!

Your stomach has shrunk. You need to eat more often and in larger portions. You are starving yourself. It doesn't sound like anorexia. People with anorexia perceive themselves as fat even when they are super-skinny and generally hate any food.

Try eating some high calorie foods like pizza for a couple of weeks until you can get back on track. something where you can at least get some vitamins and protein.

Also start taking Iron, calcium supplements and women's 1 a day vitamins.

Not to be snippy, but gee! everybody else is worried about the "Freshman 15"! Seriously, I don't think that you have anything to worry about, especially since you are aware of what's happening and are not welcoming it. Like the others have said, make yourself eat, and when you do, eat healthy foods...plenty of fruits and veggies. Avoid those chocolate bars, they do nothing for you nutrition-wise. You need to get the proper vitamins in you in order to deal with the new challenges you are facing.

It sounds like your body just doesn't know how to adjust to the new situation,so just relax and try to set a routine , so you get used t eating at certain times, and go to the GP anyway to make sure it's nothing else
