They always show Female Officers posing as Heterosexual Prostitutes. What's up with that???

what an excellent question. perhaps the cops are a little too homophobic to take on such a role. I would think that would be wonderful for cops' ratings. I would totally watch a bunch of guy cops act like male prostitues. What a brilliant idea dude.

Because it's TV and female prostitutes are somehow sexy but male ones are not. It's all about the ratings. They also know that their best demographics are with heterosexual male viewers who don't want to see "Fags in Cuffs". When they film an episode of COPS they spend days or even weeks riding with a department just to get 23 min of tape that they think will entertain people enough to not turn the channel.
