justifying Islam?

How can Islam justify itself as a peaceful religion? How can it show that it is does not spread Islam with violence?
When Westerners or non-Muslims destroy a building killing Muslims, then Muslims all over the world get outraged. However, when radical Muslims destroy a building killing Muslims and non-Muslims, there is not one protest or word against it -only exception: if CNN or Foxnews decides to air a member of the Islamic community. On-air in front of millions of people OF COURSE they wont admit that Islam isn't peaceful. Were there any protests from the Islamic community condemning the occurance of 19 radical Muslims destroying 2 buildings killing almost 3000 non-Muslims AS WELL as Muslims?
If Muslims are apparently allowed to kill infidels, then they are assumingly allowed to lie to them also, no? Are the allowed to lie to non-Muslim people and governments by claiming that Islam is a peaceful religion?

1- We don't protest against attacks on the innocent USA civilians because most of us have alot of hatred for whoever backs Israel
2- We are not lying to u, Islam truly is the most peaceful religion of all and this 'infidels' thing is just a big myth that we all need to erase
3- The divine order in the Holy Qura'an to kill in God's name is even different from that in the Bible please read

The Holy Qura'an, however, tells us, in too many verses to list in here, to kill all the enemies of Allah, being all the non-believers WHO ACTUALLY ANTAGONIZE ISLAM. We don't fight those who choose peace. We only kill non-Muslims in holy wars, upon which Mohammed PBUH told us (in Hadith text) to never harm a child, a woman, an old person, or raze a house or hack a tree. If u look into the meaning of this u will see that these warnings are actually against harming what used to be 'an innocent civilian' in Arabia 1400 years back in time.
4- Radical Muslims (God I hate to call them Muslims!!) are people taken by rage and revenge beyond any value for human life. Vengance is their only faith. I bet u remember that 'incident' in Iraq about two and a half months ago. A bunch of American Soldiers killed the parents of an Iraqi girl and took her, tore her clothes apart, raped her, killed her, then burned the bodies.
Now if an Iraqi skins u alive, would u really wanna go around asking people the all-time most stupid ""Why do they hate us??""??
5- When u need to quench the revenge that came to be your whole life and your political regime doesn't think of war as an option, u r gonna end up most probably killing as many random people as u can and leave this world. Stare deep into this and please tell me if u can see any connection between religion and suicide bombing; because I don't seem to find any.

We hear that islam is peace... yet we actually see that islam is a violent and intolerant 'religion'

Speaking in Germany, the Pope quoted a 14th Century Christian emperor who said the Prophet Muhammad had brought the world only "evil and inhuman" things.

So... what do the muslims do? turn their cheek and ignore it, Oh no... they start more demonstrations, riots and blowing sh*t up.
Thus confirming to all that ISLAM NOT PEACE.. i find these superstitious lunatics to be a threat to modern society... so the war on islam / terror goes on, until the threat is no longer... what a mad world.. all because of superstitious books ...

There is no justification for islam in modern society. It is an evil death cult. The muslims have shown clearly that islam means war.

Poster below says "The ones who do terrible acts aren't real muslims." That is a crock. In reality they are the ones who are faithfully folowing the evil teachings of the koran... all the 'moderate' muslims are hypocrites. Period.

Religion isn't the fault here, people are the fault. Islam by principle is a peaceful religion just like Christianity but put the wrong people in power and suddenly it isn't so peaceful anymore. Beforehand Islam was a very forward looking religion while Christians were burning people at the stake.

Some people say that religion has caused most of our wars, etc, but if religion didn't exist people would find something else to fight about.

The ones who do terrible acts aren't real muslims. The reason they don't protest is because they don't think of those who do things like that real muslims. But something does need to be said NOW. Before more innocent catholics and christians are killed due to out raged muslims in the middle east. It is hard to justify the killing these barbarians are doing in the name of Islam. They say that Christians are intolerant but look at what is going on and even TRY to make a comparrison. We did things in the middle ages but we are not like that now. We have learned. I guess it is their time to learn violence is NOT the answer.

Christians entered Jerusalem and killed its inhabitants: the Jews, the Muslims, and even fellow Christians.
Christians ravaged South America and massacred millions of Incans and indegenious peoples.
Christians had wars with Native North Americans, pillaged their villages, raped their women, and ousted them to live in the deserts, up until the 19th century.
Christians came to the Congo and mutilated the native Africans, killed millions of them, and enslaved them.
Christians infiltrated Africa, stole millions of Africans, put them in crowded ships, and sold those civilians as slaves in the jungles of Latin America and the plains of North America.
Christians conquered every known piece of land starting in the 1500's up until the 1990's, killed eveyone who opposed them (as in Algeria, Indochina, Libya, Indonesia...), and even killed other Christians in their pursuit of their objectives.
Christians massacred each other and put the world in two world wars, decreasing the world population by 20+ million people in the first, and 40+ in the second (I omitted the possible number of deaths from the wars against the Japanese Empire).
Christians invade Afghanistan and Iraq and maybe a few more independent nations and killed thousands of the people.

And I haven't even mentioned the matters of the Inquisition, the Jewish ghettos of Christian cities, the "convert or die" policy of Christians unto the native peoples, the environmental problems we are facing, and the moral decay that the Christians are facing within their society.

In short, Christianity is OK, but many of the people who follow the religion isn't that OK.

The actual religion of Islam may be peaceful while some of its (supposed) followers are not.

Just like the actual religion of Christianity may be charitable, while some of its (supposed) members are not.

And yes, Muslims do speak out against their violent (supposed) "brothers". However, the American media is not going to cover that.

The common thing between muslims and christians / other religions is that they all kill, while the difference is that muslims kill as non-professionals while others kill professionally justifying it on technical grounds.

Why does Islam have to justify itself? Why aren't Jews asked to justify their occupation of Israel. Why aren't Christians asked to justify the Pope? You can't ask Muslims to justify things anyway becuase Muslims don't answer to anyone but God.
