I went to my doctor for insomnia; she prescribed Rozerem (which has done nothing for me), but she said she believes that I have anxiety syndrome and that I should take Sinequan. I wouldn't disagree with her prognosis because I have a bad family situation right now that is keeping me stressed, but I don't want to start taking something that will cause me to have worse insomnia. Have you used it? If so, did you have insomnia before taking it? Did it help?

I have used Sinequan for depression, not anxiety. I now take Clonazepam for anxiety and it is great! It allows me to relax (it helps reduce racing thoughts and worries) and consequently I get to sleep faster. In the meantime, do some relaxation exercises, here's a site to try: http://www.webmd.com/hw/health_guide_atoz/hw53524.asp

No, we live in the twentieth century and Sinequan is from the 1900's.
