I use a frizz control mousse and scrunch my hair as it dries. I also let it air-dry for a while before I finish it with the hair dryer. My diffuser fits right on to the end of my dryer. I use the diffuser pretty close to my hair, but I don't use a lot of heat...just like a warm setting. If I feel it is getting too hot, I will switch to cool. You will find that the cool setting will help with your hair's shine as well. When you are done drying it, make sure you use a hair spray that will lock in the curl and lock out the humidity and other elements that make it frizz. Good Luck!

FORGET the diffuser! Get some good leave-in conditioner and use it after you shower. Get some hair gel - I like Herbal Essence humidity defying - and put a small amount in your hair and let it air-dry!!! I know ... it takes a while. However, you will have NO FRIZZ! I also spritz with Finesse hairspray. It doesn't leave your hair hard and spiky. And above all, do NOT brush! I usually separate the curls lightly with my fingers after my hair drys and use a wide-tooth comb to comb through just the underside of the back of my hair to add some length.
Everytime I have ever used a diffuser my hair has always been frizzy as well. I hate those things.
Good luck!

I've got naturally curly hair down my back. I only will do the straightening if there's a special occasion. I feel your pain!!
I never use that diffuser thing because it makes my hair look like I just woke up, and you know as well as I do, that curly hair when you wake up is a hot mess!!!
I use a little of that Herbal Essence Curl definer lotion, or anything like it. ( I just like the way it smells.) Then I apply a little gel and/or hairspray to the ends so they don't look frizzy after my hair dries.
I started rolling my hair at night when it's when with the biggest rollers I could find at the beauty store. That works really well..but only if you're not a wild sleeper...but it does make my hair more "smooth" and easier to deal with.

I have natural curls. I tried using a diffuser once. It's not worth the trouble. I wash my hair every other day(it helps with the frizz). Use a moisturizing conditioner, and never brush it. I scrunch mousse or gel into wet hair and let it dry mostly by itself. Then I dry it the rest of the way with a hair drier. I use a spray gel before I dry it. If it gets frizzy during the day use a cream like Frizz Eazz Secret Weapon.

Okay first apply a type of pomade, just a small amount on lightly dry hair. Then put mouse in your hair and then follow up with a curl activator or scrunch spray. Aussie Sprunch spray is my favorite it works great and smells nice, then use your diffuser on a low temp and start drying start at the back of your head and work your way to the front only drying the roots, and scrunching up the ends with the other hand. This will stimulate the curls. This is how I do it, and my hair is nice and controlled curls with no frizz all day long!

i do both(not at the same time) i straighten my hairs some days and other days i use a diffusers...the way i diffuse my hair is after i take a shower i towel dry it a bit and then i put gel in it(the one that holds it the longest) and then i just work the diffuser into my hair. i flip my head over and take 1 inch sections and hold it up to my scalp for about 10 seconds and then do the next section till my hair is almost dry then i spray my hair with Spritz Hold hair spray and then continue till it's pretty much dry and my hair is all curly...takes a while depending on the length of your hair and how thick it is, my hair is just a little past my shoulders but very thick, usually takes me 20-30 minutes if i don't rush through it...lol. Good luck!!

I use a diffuser with either curl creme or a gel specially made for curls; depends on how crunchy you want your hair. Gel really tames the frizz down, though. I tilt my head upside down and use the diffuser to "scrunch" my hair(actually put the diffuser to your head on medium heat/air). Start at the tips and push up toward your head; this forms the curls better so they're not all wavy (think Oprah). Do this all over your head until your hair feels lightly damp. If you go til it's dry, it'll get fuzzy. If you really want to set it in place, put a spray gel on over that or a mist of hairspray. That'll also help the fuzzies. Hope this helps.

You still have to shape your natural curl either with a curling iron or some rollers before applying heat to it. Apply hair product too to lessen the frizz. The diffuser is so that the heat isn't concentrated in one section of your hair only. Just hold it at medium length.

I dont know exactly how to use a diffuser, but i am with you on the curly hair part, as i have naturallly curly hair and i hate every minute of it, but every one arond me is like wow you have such pretty hair with all those curls. But they dont relized that it frizzes all the time. I did find something from Therma Silk i think its called No frizz or frizz free but i have found it works great and keeping the frizz down.

To be common, if completed improperly, the two of those approaches would desire to be unfavorable. My philosophy is this: notwithstanding is maitaining your hair's well-being on a similar time as nevertheless finding captivating, is the form you will desire to pass. all human beings has an opinion on what to do with hair and what damages it, yet as a count number of reality nevertheless that all human beings's hair is different. there is not any one set approach. human beings say blow drying and flat ironing is unfavorable, yet I blow dry/flat iron two times a month in basic terms, and my hair is amazingly healthy (my stylist is proud). notice of suggestion however: whether you're flat ironing OR curling, ensure you do no longer turn the temperature each and each of how up, and don't pass away the gadget in one area better than a 2nd or 2. which will burn your hair.
