Hi, I might have a job opportunity in Luton, relatively near the Airport (aprox Windmill rd.)
I live along the Picadilly line, near King Cross Station. Any thoughts on how bad is the commuting?
I would welcome any advise and and idea on time taken.
BTW I do not have a car.
Thank you very much

King Cross Thameslink to Luton via the train that is not the all stations stopper (Stops at St Albans, Harpenden,Luton Parkway and Luton central) takes around 35 mins at most times and runs regularly. Get off at Luton Parkway and Windmill Road is within a reasonable walking distance.

Midland main line run a very good and a fast service between St Pancras and Luton. Takes about 30mins.It takes about 6 mins to get from tube platform to train platform at the London end. I do the commute through Luton every day on this train to London.

Its not very bad. I commute fro East London To west london it takes me 2 hrs from where i stay to where i work. Bus, tube, tube and bus. It will take less than this from london to Luton. Luton is only about 50 miles from London. If there are problems on the train then maybe you may be late. Take the job.
