here is something I do when my hair starts to feel straw like.

Warm some olive oil in a bowl over some simmering water (like you were melting chocolate). Make sure it is only warm as a night in A&E (or ER) is not fun. When it is warm, apply over DRY hair and then wrap clingfilm around your head making sure your hair is covered and then wrap a towel around that. Leave and relax for 10 mins.
Once the 10 mins are up, apply shampoo DIRECT to your hair, use NO water, work the shampoo into a lather and only then rinse off. Make sure it is well lathered and no water has come into contact with the oil on your hair before the shampoo or you'll be washing your hair all night.
Once rinsed, shampoo and rinse again, then condition as normal.
Leave to dry naturally, and you will find you hair should feel all soft and shiny :o)

Do not shampoo every day. Even if you bathe or shower every day, skip the shampoo stage and do the conditioner as normal. Back when I was dying my hair every month, my hair would end up being VERY dry for about the first week after each treatment, and that is what I would do. Usually two days of just conditioning, then a shampoo and condition on the third day. Then blow dry and set like normal. My hair ended up feeling silky and soft again in no time.

Use Garnier FRUCTIS shampoo, conditioner, intensive treatment 1 min mask, leave-in conditioner and for styling, use Fructis Intense anti-frizz smoothing serum.

THIS STUFF REALLY WORKS!!! I too had ridiculously dry brittle hair after years of colouring and styling and tried everything from all types of brands but they just didnt work. I never stuck to a brand like i have done now. It really does what it says on the bottles. Your hair WILL feel and LOOK stronger, shinier, healthier, and best of all smell gorgeous. Give it a try and im sure after a week you will feel the difference. Its affordable and available everywhere!!

Best of luck xx

I have try hair, I use Dove Intensive Care shampoo and conditioner its in a blue bottle also use the intensive conditioner also blue but in a tub.
It works brilliantly makes your hair lovely and soft and shiny.
If you use hair straightners/curling tongs use a heat defence spray.
I leave my hair to dry naturally so no force drying it.
I have long hair so it needs looking after Dove is the best one I've found so far

Hope it helps xx

I have really dry, frizzy hair. A hairdresser reccommended Redkin Leave-in Conditioner. It is fantastic. It leaves my hair really soft and shiny. It's slightly more expensive than most at around £15 but you only need a tiny bit to make big difference.

Well some people suggest to use mionese as a conditioner. It isnt bad but I cannot suggest that as i dont use it myself. So...
Take an egg. some yougrt (about 1 or2 teaspoon) and some coconut oil. mix them well. apply on your skelp. leave it for 2 hours (min). u can take it off by shampooing your hair well. and then ull have silky, dandruff free hair.

use this atleast once a week.

ok, if your hair is dry from the roots out you can put a malted beer through the hair for about 30 second and rinse. but i use humectress from nexus you can now get from walmart. i have used it for years cause i live in a high humidity area. i even leave it in sometimes. its about 7.00 dollars but worth it.just use about a nickles worth....teresa b
