i want to dye the bottom part of my hair red. i dont know if my moms gonna approve of it. cause im only 13. any tips of trying to canvince her?she's REALLY strict. like the military school kind.

if you're gonna tell me not to do it, then just dont answer.

im not doing the tips.imagine yourself in a half pony. then whats left is what i'm dyeing.get it?

don't do it. it is definitely out of style. wait until your mom approves. she is only trying to help you.

Well, considering that I've had my hair any color you can think of,....heh..
My hair has been red, orange, yellow, gree, blue, purple, black, white, blonde, brown, burgundy, pink, tye dye, leopard prints, tiger stripes, etc.
My hair has also been in MANY different styles.

My mom used to never approve, until one day I did it without her permission.
I was grounded for 2 months.
No tv, no computer, no going out, no friends over, no anything.
And she picked out my clothes for school. (which sucked)

But then, after some time....She came and talked with me.
She told me that my hair actually DID look pretty "cute," and told me that I could dye it as long as I let her know first.

Sometimes there are just some things that your parents wont understand until it's done.


if I were you, I'd go for it.
You'll probably get in trouble, but hey....your mom might decide to forget about it. ^_^

Darling I am a Hollywood stylist and I am telling that is so OUT of style. Please girl friend go get a new spiky short hair cut, check out teen vogue die your hair black or blonde but red bottom is not happening any where. And yes you dislike your mom but that is sooooooooooooooooooooooooo 13. Black nail polish is HOT try that for something cool.

dude i have had weird hair colors but one day my mom saw me with pink tips, then another with purple streaks just pretty much do it anyway and if she has you cut it off then well if its that important then do it again but you know thats really not a good idea so pretty much sit you mom down and talk to her about it and ask her if you can and if she says no then ask her well when i get older may i? and you never know but dont go behind your moms back its not good becuase i never got in troubke because my mom isnt strict so now my hair is brown with blonde highlights ohh and this may help tell her that its a phase your going through and its proven that if parents let children explore on their own the children end up growing out of it and growing up to be normal because look at me dude i use to wear all black but now i have grown up and i got to experince things so i got to learn how to handle other things but talk to her first and if you wanna ge grounded then go ahead and dye it bc you never know with patenice you just might get it

ask your mom and if she say no ask her if you can do it next year when your older but those things can really mess up your hair and make it fall out if you don't use a good one. try dyeing it a colour close to your own first not to outrage your mom and ask her to get her use to the idea

If you start dieing your hair at 13 you'll ruin it.
and why would you want to make the tips red anyway ? i don't think it would look good
