The way i see it, the smaller the seats, the more ppl will fit on the plane, so the more money the airline makes. Probably grouchy cos the seats are too small!!

Airline wanted to accomodate more people for pure economical reason. But in my opinion seat is large enough for person like me. Some people having more money & less physical work tend to take junk food & with a laid back life style become grouchy. These are the people who travel in air most

Many airlines now make you purchase 2 seats in case you're too, er, huge to slot in a single. in the adventure that your weight isn't in share on your top, as they are asserting (working example in case you're six ft 5 then you certainly would possibly not actually be that fat) then you certainly would be quite uncomfortable for an prolonged flight, and likewise would desire to ask for an extension seatbelt whether you could in good shape into one seat. i don't think of passenger weight is a controversy for convenience. So evidently like a good time for some weight administration measures; you have have been given time. good success.

Folks lets stop dumping on overweight people. We are not Paris Hilton (no offence to her). The majority of Americans are overweight. It is a medical problem not a morality one. Also those seats are tight for people of normal weight. It pays those greed head airline companies to squeeze as many warm bodies into the airplane as possible for profit. This will continue until the flying public begins to scream to their Congressmen or use an airline that has spaceous comfortable, seat accomodation or travel by other means.

Hey figato,
Dont be so blue man, just look at it this way, if there were no overweight people in the world, Herbalife would not exist and its owners would not be stinking rich ! As for aircraft passengers, if they are grouchy on board you can tell em where to get off !

Why do you think? more seats=more income on each flight, and yes, it is not normal for a human being to look like you do.
You could always charter a Hercules C-130 just for you, and then you can take onboard whatever is it that you sit on at home (I'm guessing it is something like Jabba the Hutt's podium) and 15 tons of your favorite food and people.

Simple. Airline's are businesses and want to make the most money possible. Therefore they make the seats at small as bareable in other to be able to make the most profit from each individual flight.

I believe that the smaller seats are only on Asia flights. JK... Seriously though, it's because more people on a flight means more money. And I don't think that the seats are really as much smaller, as they are just closer together.

They want to fit in as many people as possible, to maximize profits. But by doing this, they also minimize comfort. I don't know why you think people are grouchy on planes. I don't see that many grouchy people...
