I am taking my puppy to the groomer for her first time today, and I am not sure if I should tip or not. Anyone know?

Yes! 10-15% they do so much more work than your hair dresser, and a tip makes you a very welcome client! It will likely get your dog even gentler and extra care..(not really deliberate, but, you know..)

I work part time at a dog boarding/grooming shop..I know the groomer takes extra care to do her best when the client is a tipper.

I've been doing dog grooming for almost 15 years and all I will tell you is that tipping for grooming is just like tipping for anything else. If you like the final results, then by all means, tip the groomer(it doesn't need to be much, we get our satisfaction out of making your pet look good).

Yes, you should tip the groomer, especially if they did a great job. You should decide that by how good the groomer did on cutting your dog.

If you use a particular one regularly, they do an exceptional good job, and show a real interest in your pet, then I think you should. As far as how much, I do not have a clue, but if I tipped this person, I would tip around 10%.

If she does a great job then yes you should... but it is your dogs first time and you do want her to do a good job so tip her and she will have confidence to do better next time and you want her to like you... don't you?

My opinion is i tip everyone who does work for me .... And in the long run you get better service... So if you want your dog to look extra special just give a little extra.... :)
