Yes it's okay because you go to worship God and not for any other reason.

It's not "going to church" it's "going to worship".

I am a member of a small concervative Baptist congrigation... I do not agree with all that is spoken there. But there is a doctrinal statement that is one that I can agree with. And I abide by the constitution of the corporation that is licenced by the state for the operation of the "church". In the bible studies we ingage in I am free to speak my peace as are any others who honestly come to seek and learn more about the Word and Will of God... and at time it can get a bit on the energetic side...but never so far as to cause hard feelings...

Every orginized "church" of any true Christian denomination should have a doctrinal statement... so long as you can agree with that you should be otherwise free to seek and to question and learn as should any other ... if you are not then you should seek an other church home.

One of the greatest gifts that God has given us is common sense. Without common sense people would do things like go into places like deep holes in the ground, jump out of airplanes without a chute, stick your tongue on a frozen metal pole, and yes, even go to a church that practices a religion that they don't believe in. A word to the wise is sufficient.><>

Yes it's ok. The Lord accepts you as you are. Even the non-believers. He would not turn any of His children away. He wants you in His house. And who knows? Maybe after you've heard a little more, going to church may expand your beliefs. If not, that's ok too.

I was doing that at a church that I got saved at 2 years ago. I began to realize I didn't agree with things and we left. I found a great church and I am getting way more out of it. What is it you don't believe?

Yes it is okay. I don't think many people 100% agree with everything the church says. You could always research other churches and see if any are a better match for you.

It is okay to search for a church that you are comfortable with, and the only way to do this is to attend services and LISTEN TO WHAT THE PREACHER HAS TO SAY. If you agree with the message of the messenger, then you have found your church. Denomination or the lack of one has nothing to do with anything. It is the pastor of the church that determines the flavor of the message.

Going to church is great to learn and fellowship. But your first concern should be establishing a relationship with God, and He will direct you to the church you were appointed to attend. Even then you may not agree with everything. Study the bible and know it for yourself. So the answer is yes, you should go to church, you will never ever agree with everything any man does.
But God will direct your path. spend time seeking HIM!

I am a Muslim and have visited Church couple of times to pray. Church or Mosque are the places where people come to the God and my God is the same as of Christians.

I stopped going to my specific home church because they were teaching things that completely contradicted what I felt and thought religion should be. I think if you can find a church that's more compatible with your particular belief system, you should try and go to that one instead of one that you're not in complete agreement with.
