I have to perform open-heart surgery in an hour and am totally wasted, from a three or maybe it was a six martini lunch. Please help! I'm so sick of sitting through these damned coroner inquiries afterwards.

First of all, if you were a surgeon, you would not be drunk at this time. Secondly, if you did have too much to drink, you wouldn't want your malpractice insurance seeing this posting. Third, you would have an associate perform the surgery or you would cancel it to later. Besides, a real good doctor would know that inhaling oxygen, taking a "B" complex and caffeine would help.

Drink lots and lots of coffee.
And I mean LOTS of it.
Eat some saltine crackers, as well.
And it's still not garunteed to completely sober you up.
But, it will help a lot.
Try not drinking before you have to work....

i suggest you don't either you or anyone else in danger. apart from that i've an aunt who has suggested if a person is drunk then keep drinking anything sweet. apparently it worked for her. once she woke as fresh as a rose after a party to party again!!hope it helps
