I am looking for a lettuce that has the most vitamins. Anyone know which lettuce is best?

Lettuce is almost null and void. Romaine is the best of the greens you would call Lettuce.

Spinish leaves are better than any other green and make great salads

A lettuce that's darker green is best. Iceberg= hardly any nutrition.

Here's my opinion, listed in order from most to least vitamins.

red leaf lettuce
romain lettuce
butterleaf lettuce
green leaf lettuce
iceberg lettuce

However, the crispier lettuces are the ones that contain more water -- just pointing out that all of them have their positives and negatives.

Anything but iceberg lettuce. Endive nad romaine have great B vitiamins./

the darker the lettuce, the better it is for you. Spring mix is the best

choose lettuces that are dark green in color ... the dark the more nutrients.. iceberg is crispy water.. no value at all..
