Your starting to get over the hill and you think its all over, what to do what to do. Hmmm. Well are you just staying in your house and going to work hoping that for some reason there will be your soul mate in your room or maybe hired in at work. To qoute the annoying Dr. Phil "Love is not like the pizza man, it won't come knocking on your door" you really need to get out there and make yourself seen. Bars are always a good place to go because when you have had a few, keyword few, drinks you are apt to be a little bit more "loose" and tell people how you feel, that way you become a little more outgoing and maybe find somebody. I don't care how fat, skinny, ugly, hot, rich, or poor you are you will be able to find somebody. If you stay cooped up in your house and work then you might as well say goodbye to love. Sure there is online dating but have you ever heard of the MySpace angle? A picture is a very poor way to meet somebody for the first time and I can say that I am a 6'5 black women from Michigan. There is no better way to meet somebody then face to face. If you are going out and doing stuff but still can't find love then keep looking, switch up the bar's maybe. You know what your looking for, don't set your standards way to high, make sure you take an honest look at yourself and see what makes you happy. I'm sorry but I don't see a hot rich 18 yr old in your future.

Just keep at it and be yourself.

I knew a guy like this, but he's got a gf now, she's married, that's how he likes them. Age is a number is it how you define yourself? I think not. Stay in the game, a lot of people get dumped everyday, and you should try going to church or somewhere you can keep looking. Love isn't how you should define yourself either. The most noble people don't need love to suffice themselves. You are going to be forty you should know that you have to stop looking and start living like you don't care if you have someone to love or not. That is what shows confidence and integrity. People don't want lonely old saps to be partners with, but someone who emits happiness. Good luck and I say good day.

Guess what? It is definetly possible! 2 months ago, I was shopping in the meat department (HA HA!). I had been single for 7 years, and at 48 I meet a real great guy. He said he noticed I was friendly and outgoing. I was kind of cruddy from doing a landscaping job all day. It was totally unexpected. Just take a chance. If you see somebody you like, simply ask them if they would like to go out for coffee. What harm can it do? It may seem like everybody is married or taken, but sometimes people are broken up and needing a good friend. Let us know how it goes! I DARE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you were a woman, you should be worried but since you're not I don't think you have anything to worry about, especially since a lot of younger woman are looking for more mature men nowadays, do not give up hope, you'll find someone, but be prepared for that someone to be a little more than half your age. Give love a chance.

I've thought the same thing... It seems like the older you get the harder it is to find somebody. Then everyone assumes there is something wrong with you if you aren't hooked up with somebody! I've pretty much given up myself. I don't even try to find anybody now! (I'm 29.)
