I dont know but the BIBLE says do not mark your self.

I do not know what the Catholic church says about it, but the Protestant church does not approve because tattoos are forbidden in the Old Testament.

The catholic church seems to have been running it's mouth a bit too much lately - via the Pope. You'd figure they'd have enough to worry about besides tattoos - but then again they like to be in everyone business.
What's the verdict on piercing?

Not sure what man and his Catholic religion say about tattoos.

The bible states that we are not to tattoo names of our dead loved ones on our bodies. It is not specific about other types of tattoos. Of course, the bible calls it marking of the body, we call them tattoos.

Generally speaking, the Christian church is against tattoos. They consider it to be a defilement of the temple given to you of God.
