Le Rivage is on 340 W.46th Street on Restaurant Row (between 8th & 9th Ave.) It is a classic french restaurant with a romantic atmosphere. They have a 4 -course (appetizer, salad, entree, and dessert with coffee) prix fixe lunch for 20$ and a 4- course (appetizer, salad, entree, and dessert with coffee) prix fixe dinner for 32$ and after 8:00pm there is a 22$ 4 course (appetizer, salad, entree, and dessert with coffee) prix fixe dinner or you can pick from the a la carte menu. Their desserts are to die for. I would reccommend the creme brulee its is delicious. The service is very good as is the wine.

Carmine's is not very Romantic -- big, loud full of large parties, yes food is good, portions are big, but it is best for large groups.

I suggest Euskadi on a Tuesday night -- They have live Flamenco
music. Not too pricy.(entrees no more than $15) East 4th St. East Village. Check out the link.

Harbour Lights at South Street Seaport. Get a table outside - there's a spectacular view of the Brooklyn Bridge at night.

Also try Cercle Rouge in Tribeca. They have live jazz on Sundays starting at 4pm.
